Wilson to Lead Press Conference on Assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise

Miami, FL - On Thursday, July 8, at 1:00 p.m., Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson will lead a press conference to respond to the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise and to call for U.S. support and unity among Haiti's citizens during this turbulent period. She will be joined by several local elected officials and members of the Haitian Community.

Wilson announced that Florida will receive $2,510,041,078 in new federal funding under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to create good-paying jobs for Floridians and improve roads and bridges across the state. Congresswoman Wilson was one of only five members chosen to cosponsor this landmark legislation, given her leadership and seniority on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
