House Resolution 573, introduced by Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson (FL-24), passed the U.S. House of Representatives Tuesday evening. The resolution condemns the recent kidnapping of more than 200 girls from a high school in Nigeria by extremist terrorist group, Boko Haram. Congresswoman Wilson issued the following statement:
"Passage of my resolution puts the U.S. House of Representatives firmly on record condemning Boko Haram's history of violent attacks on civilian targets in Nigeria, and the abduction of hundreds of Nigerian school girls," said Congresswoman Wilson.
