MIAMI, FL - Today, Tuesday, October 21, Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson will host a press conference to discuss the recent announcement of a Haitian Family Reunification Parole Program by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
MIAMI, FL - Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson (FL-24)announced today that the 24th District will benefit from $1.35 million in affordable housing funding from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta (FHLBank Atlanta), one of the 12 district banks in the Federal Home Loan Bank System.
Today the U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced the implementation of the Haitian Family Reunification Parole Program. This program will expedite family reunification for certain eligible Haitian family members of U.S. citizens and lawful permanent U.S. residents and will promote safe, legal, and orderly migration from Haiti to the U.S.
This action will provide a lifeline to Haiti's economy, and reunite tens of thousands of Haitian families.

MIAMI, FL- Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson (FL-24)will join U.S. Senator Bill Nelson (FL) at a U.S. Senate Science and Space Subcommittee hearing entitled "Leading the Way: Adapting to South Florida's Changing Coastline." The hearing will provide an overview of climate science and discuss how the analyses conducted by federal agencies and by Florida universities inform state and local government adaptation plans. Witnesses will also discuss the impact of climate change to Florida industries, as well as efforts to reduce the carbon emissions that drive climate change.
