The Paycheck Fairness Act provides women with the ability to fight wage discrimination and closes loopholes that have allowed employers to avoid taking responsibility for discriminatory pay. This bill demands equal pay for equal work.

MIAMI, FL- Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson (FL-24)will join U.S. Senator Bill Nelson (FL) at a U.S. Senate Science and Space Subcommittee hearing entitled "Leading the Way: Adapting to South Florida's Changing Coastline." The hearing will provide an overview of climate science and discuss how the analyses conducted by federal agencies and by Florida universities inform state and local government adaptation plans. Witnesses will also discuss the impact of climate change to Florida industries, as well as efforts to reduce the carbon emissions that drive climate change.
