Wilson's (FL-24) House Resolution 617, condemning the abduction of hundreds of Nigerian girls by the terrorist group Boko Haram, was passed by the United States House of Representatives. Bipartisan support for the Congresswoman's resolution comes in the wake of reports of more kidnappings of young women last week in Nigeria. H.Res. 617 is Congresswoman Wilson's second resolution passed by the House condemning Boko Haram's actions. Congresswoman Wilson issued the following statement:

"This decision is yet another attack on Americans' ability to make their own health decisions and strips an element of women's comprehensive healthcare.

This bill would allow student loan borrowers who have been granted debt relief as a result of consistent repayment towards their student loan debt an exemption from being taxed on the amount forgiven.
