MIAMI, FL - Today, following months of calling for increased support from the Administration for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) amidst alarming threats, Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson (FL-24), Chair of Higher Education and Workforce Investment, commends President Biden, Vice President Harris, and the Department of Education for expanding eligibility to immediate grant funding for HBCUs that recently experienced a bomb threat under the Project School Emergency Response to Violence (Project SERV) program.
