Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson (FL-24) was sworn into the 114th United States Congress today to begin her third term as the United States Representative for Florida's 24th Congressional District. The Congresswoman issued the following statement:
Miami, FL - Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson (FL-24) will join President Barack Obama on Air Force One to travel roundtrip to Miami on Wednesday, February 25, for the President's town hall meeting on immigration at Florida International University's (FIU) main campus at 3:00 p.m.
Today, Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson (FL-24), ranking member on the Subcommittee on Workforce Protections, introduced as an amendment H.R. 3427, the Payroll Fraud Prevention Act of 2015, during an Education and Workforce Committee markup hearing.
Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson (FL-24) issued the following statement in response to President Obama's 2015 State of the Union address:

Today at a Subcommittee on Workforce Protections hearing on overtime protections, Ranking Democrat Rep. Frederica S. Wilson (FL-24) described the Department of Labor's proposed rule to update federal regulations that determine who is eligible for overtime pay as an issue of basic fairness.
