Congresswoman Frederica Wilson Statement on the Ongoing Conflict between Israel and Iran

Congresswoman Frederica Wilson released the following statement on the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran:

“When Israel is strong, America is safe, and Israel has the right to defend themselves against any and all attacks. A nuclear Iran remains a grave threat to Israel, the United States, and the world. Iran has declared death to Israel and death to the United States, and they must never be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon.

“My heart goes out to the Israeli people during this trying time. I will continue to monitor the situation in the region, and it is my hope that longstanding peace can still be achieved in the region.”
