Congresswoman Frederica Wilson Elected Ranking Member of the House Subcommittee on Technology

Today, Congresswoman Frederica Wilson (FL-24) was elected by her colleagues in the Democratic Caucus to become Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Technology, a part of the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, for the 113th Congress.

Today, Congresswoman Frederica Wilson (FL-24) was elected by her colleagues in the Democratic Caucus to become Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Technology, a part of the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology, for the 113th Congress. Ranking Member Wilson issued the following statement:

"A successful economy requires innovation and imagination. The House Subcommittee on Technology can help spur economic growth and job creation by promoting the development of important new products, services, and ideas. The Subcommittee’s jurisdiction is not only to promote technological progress but also to bolster the competitiveness of the US economy. I look forward to building on the Subcommittee's proud bipartisan tradition in my role as Ranking Member."
