Today, Congresswoman Frederica Wilson (D-Fla.) issued the following statement on the House’s passage of the U.S.-Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act, which she co-sponsored:

“As a co-sponsor of the U.S.-Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act, I am pleased to help send the Senate version to President Obama’s desk for his signature. I stand firmly with my friends in the Jewish community in full support of Israel. This legislation reaffirms our commitment to Israel’s security as a Jewish state and to provide Israel with the military capabilities to defend itself amid the rapid political changes in the region.”
