South Florida Community Unites for “Women on the Move in Support of Congresswoman Frederica Wilson’s Vision” Prayer Vigil and State of the Union Watch Party

MIAMI, FL – South Florida will gather on Tuesday, January 30, to unite in prayer to support Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson's vision, which includes the call for unity in the community, safeguarding the Affordable Care Act, fighting for TPS recipients and DREAMers, and voter empowerment during the upcoming mid-term and other future elections.

"Women on the Move in Support of Congresswoman Frederica Wilson's Vision" Prayer Vigil, was organized by New Washington Heights Community Development Conference, Inc. executive director Jackie Bell, who will serve as host with Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jean Monestime. A variety of stakeholders, including sexual assault victims, TPS holders, DREAMers, and members of Miami's various immigrant communities, have been invited to the event.

The prayer vigil will be take place before President Donald Trump delivers his State of the Union address, and will be followed by a viewing of the speech.
