Wilson (FL-24) released the following statement in wake of the death of 18-year-old Michael Brown and the violent clashes with peaceful protestors and law enforcement in Ferguson, Missouri: "I am tired of burying young black boys. I am tired of watching them suffer at the hands of those who fear them and despise them. "I am tired of comforting mothers, fathers, grandparents, sisters and brothers after such unnecessary, heinous crimes of violence. "Americans should all be mourning, as I am, as we bury yet another young black boy." |
