A U.S. Congresswoman has filed a bill in the House of Representatives which would make masks required in all 50 states.

Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL24) introduced H.R. 7607, otherwise known as the Masks for All Act of 2020.

Under the bill, the Secretary of Health and Human Services would require every state, territory, local government, and Tribal government to require the use of face coverings in public and at businesses.

The masks mandate would be a condition to states and territories in order to receive COVID-19 funds. The bill would not apply to people outdoors and six feet apart, children under 2, those with medical conditions where a mask would affect their ability to breathe, when eating or drinking, or for those unable to remove a mask without help.
