Congresswoman Wilson Votes to support Israel, Humanitarian Aid to Gaza, Ukraine, and Taiwan

Washington D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Frederica Wilson (FL-24) released the following statement on her vote to support Israel, Humanitarian Aid to Gaza, Ukraine, and Taiwan.

“For months, MAGA Republicans have delayed critical supplemental aid needed to support our allies. Extreme MAGA Republicans are out of excuses, and our allies are running out of time. But today, Democrats and I proudly stood with Ukraine, stood with Israel, stood with Taiwan, and delivered humanitarian aid to Gaza. Meanwhile, MAGA Republicans have spent months playing politics, leaving our national security interests vulnerable to threats from adversaries. Today, it was Democrats who chose to stand with democracy, stand with freedom, and stand with our allies, and stand for civilians in need. This is a pivotal moment on the world stage, and the United States must uphold our leadership on the world stage as our advisories applaud our stumbles. History will remember this moment, and when history called, Democrats delivered. I am committed to not letting this pivotal moment slip away. The world is watching, and today, the United States will deliver."

Congresswoman Wilson voted ‘Yes’ to H.R. 8036 – Indo-Pacific Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024; H.R. 8038 – 21st Century Peace through Strength Act; H.R. 8035 – Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024; and H.R. 8034 – Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024.
