Rep. Wilson Commemorates Six-Month Anniversary of Infrastructure Law

Miami. Fla.  Today, Congresswoman Frederica Wilson (FL-24) announced $5.2 Billion from the Infrastructure Law has been allocated to Florida in the six months since President Biden signed the Infrastructure Law.

The funding announced over the past six months is just the beginning of transformative investments that will help Florida rebuild roads and bridges, replace lead pipes, expand access to high-speed internet, deliver cheaper and cleaner energy to households and businesses, and create good-paying jobs for hardworking American families.

“The bipartisan Infrastructure Law signed six months ago has brought historic levels of funding to the state of Florida and is continuing to invest in resilient transportation for our residents and generations to come,” said Congresswoman Wilson. “These investments are already creating quality jobs and helping rebuild our country economically, and we are only just beginning to see its tremendous success.”

Nationwide, more than $110 billion has been announced so far, with funding on the way for 4,300 specific projects impacting over 3,200 communities across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
